quick translation of the new info that came out on shinchosha’s site the other day
Fuyumi Ono’s spectacular fantasy “The Twelve Kingdoms” is coming back again!
1. Coming out in July 2012 is part one—3 books will be published at the same time!
A new edition of “Demon Child” will be released.
Paperbacks of “Shadow of the moon, Sea of the Shadow” (1st and 2nd volumes) will also be coming out.
2. From the “beginning” to the “new title”, this entire series is coming out once more in a complete set!
Published in 1991, “Demon Child” was the beginning story that spawned “The Twelve Kingdoms.” So, following the series’ whopping sales total of 7,500,000 copies, as this anticipated new work is completed, the entirety of “The Twelve Kingdoms” will be released sequentially in paperback. (Release dates to be announced, please check this site regularly for any updates.)
3. Akihiro Yamada has not only drawn the cover for this new volume, but also 5 illustrations throughout the book!
When viewed close up, these beautiful illustrations further the enchantment of this spectacular world.feeling half dead + no sleep + rushing through this = probably quite a few errors in this

Original Japanese lyrics
(Original vocals by Mika Arisaka)How far does the moon's reflection go Where is the edge of the sea? Awash in the gentle silver glow Lay down your head now and sleep Somewhere in a memory I find myself searching for Someone's heart calling to me A lonesome rain starts to pour Even trapped within this mortal frame Never doubt that my feet will not rest To the ends of this world with the sun in the east and the moon in the west Whose hands count the scattered sands of time How could one hope to discern? False dreams cast illusions over me Watching the words as they burn Holding my gaze through the flame Your wavering eyes seem unsure Asking the strength of my heart How long can our vows endure? Rising dust as the wagon wheels turn May it be that my prayer is heard Though I walk to the ends of the earth I will never abandon my word
